Data for your Tunisia holiday

Greetings fromeSIM TUNISIA

A Tunisian data plan on your own phone before you leave the UK. Land at Enfidha, Tunis or Monastir, switch it on, and the maps, WhatsApp and photos just work — no roaming bill, no airport SIM queue.

A Tunisian holiday runs on data

Resort wifi stops at the pool gate. The medina, the taxi, the day trip to Carthage or the Sahara — that is where the phone matters.

Maps that keep up

Find the louage station in Sousse, the right alley in the Hammamet medina, the beach bar in Djerba. Google Maps and Bolt need live data, and the resort wifi does not come with you.

WhatsApp the hotel, the driver, the kids

Your UK SIM stays in the phone for calls and texts. The eSIM carries the data, so WhatsApp, iMessage and FaceTime all work on your usual number.

A fraction of UK roaming

Tunisia sits outside every UK network's Europe zone, so roaming is billed by the day or by the megabyte. A fortnight on an eSIM costs less than two days of some roaming passes.

Data sorted, two ways

Answer three quick questions and we'll size the right plan for your trip — or browse the whole shelf, from £4.99. Priced in pounds, delivered by email in a minute.

Sorted before you pack

No airport kiosks, no fiddling with SIM trays by the pool. Three steps, all done from your sofa.

Pick a plan

Choose by trip length and how much you use your phone. Most two-week holidays fit the 10GB plan; heavy streamers and hotspot users take the 20GB.

Scan the QR code

It lands in your inbox within a minute. Install it at home on wifi — two minutes, no app. The clock does not start until you connect in Tunisia.

Land and switch it on

Turn on the eSIM line for data, leave your UK line on for calls. Hotspot to the tablets, share the photos, book the camel ride.

Good questions

Will my phone work with an eSIM?

Any unlocked iPhone XS or newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 or newer, or Google Pixel 3 or newer. We check this with you at checkout before you pay. If the eSIM will not install on a compatible phone, we fix it or refund it.

When does the plan start counting?

On first connection in Tunisia, not when you install it. Install at home as soon as it arrives; you have 180 days to make the first connection.

Can I keep my UK number?

Yes. Your UK SIM stays in the phone. Turn off data roaming on it, leave it on for calls and texts, and the eSIM handles data. WhatsApp and iMessage carry on using your UK number.

Does it cover the whole country?

Yes — Tunis, Hammamet, Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia, Djerba and the south, on the main Tunisian mobile networks. Coverage in the open desert is patchy on any network, including the locals' own SIMs.

Can I share it with the family?

Hotspot and tethering are included. One 10GB or 20GB eSIM can run the tablets and the kids' phones for maps and messages, though streaming on several devices eats data fast — buy one per phone if everyone wants their own.

What if I run out?

We email you at 80% used with a one-tap link to a top-up plan. You can also check your balance any time on the Check my data page, no app needed.

Is this a subscription?

No — one payment, and your plan simply expires when it's done. Nothing renews, there's no account, and there's nothing to cancel when you get home.
